Gandhi Jayanti

On 6th October, the students of Class 2 conducted a special morning assembly on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, in memory of Mahatma Gandhi. A student of Class 2 delivered a short speech on Gandhi Jayanti. She spoke about the teachings of Gandhiji, such as truth, non-violence, simplicity, and love for all, and encouraged everyone to follow his path in daily life. Next, the student recited a poem on cleanliness, giving the message that a clean surrounding makes a healthy and happy life. This was a fitting tribute, as Gandhiji always believed in cleanliness. The assembly concluded with an energetic dance performance by the Class 2 students on the song “Bande Mein Tha Dum.” The children danced with enthusiasm and filled the assembly with patriotic spirit.
