The “10 Crore Nasha Mukti Pratigya Maha Abhiyaan 2026”, being conducted from 6th to 20th August 2026, is a nationwide campaign aimed at creating awareness about the harmful effects of addiction and encouraging people to take a firm pledge for a healthy, addiction-free life. The campaign is being conducted under the MoU between the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, and various NGOs and spiritual organisations, including Brahma Kumaris. Schools, colleges, universities and other institutions are being encouraged to actively participate in this noble initiative. St Ann Sr Sec School Roorkee also got the opportunity to be addressed by Brahma Kumaris on 21 August 2026 Addiction is not limited to harmful substances alone. In today's digital age, excessive and uncontrolled use of smartphones, laptops, social media and other digital gadgets can also affect our health, concentration, studies, relationships and overall well-being. Therefore, the campaign seeks to promote responsible and balanced use of members of society. On this occasion, students are encouraged to participate in the Nasha Mukti Pratigya A pledge was taken to stay away from addiction and promote healthy habits.
